Rock Kopitiam with our classic cotton canvas tote!

We pulled inspiration from the classic kopitiam cup and saucer which emerged in the 1930’s and is this timeless beauty that was our inspiration for our own design to represent our Malaysian kopitiam culture. You’ll notice the detail of the cream-colored tote alongside the bold, earthy green color of the prints. You’ll even find old-time kopitiam signage charm and certain batik elements sprinkled throughout.

It’s a rendition of vintage kopitiam culture weaved throughout our own funky, ‘cincailah’ personality designed in collaboration with NYC based Chinese Malaysian designer, Andrew Teoh. This is us starting our own tradition in homage to all the kopitiams before us.
